BAMS Missions

The Infinity Tournament System (ITS) missions are fun, dynamic, and engaging ways to play Infinity the Game! They have also drawn largely from the same pool for the last few years. To address this, we offer a number of alternate missions. These missions may be used alongside ITS missions as part of a tournament lineup or may replace the ITS mission pool entirely for a tournament at the Tournament Organizer's discretion. Of course, these missions are readily available for use in casual play as well.

BAMS Mission Pack

As part of this offering of missions, we also offer the following two ways to play the Resilience Operations missions:

Revealed Operations

Replace the Tactical Objectives Selection section of the Resilience Operations with the following text below. Battle Conditions are selected as normal. Note that since objectives are shared, you may decline to deploy any unnecessary Tactical Elements to simplify deployment.

Tacticool Objective Selection

Players have only one way of choosing the Tactical Objectives, with the Tactical Objectives Deck.

Players draw and select their Tactical Objectives after learning which faction their opponent will be playing with, but always before choosing one of the two Army Lists shown to the tournament organizer.

Select the Tactical Objectives following this procedure:

  1. Player A (randomly selected) shuffles their Tactical Objective deck in front of their opponent.
  2. Player A draws three cards, selects two, and returns the remaining card to the deck.
  3. Player B shuffles this deck in front of their opponent.
  4. Player B draws three cards, selects two, and returns the remaining card to the deck.
    1. Players simultaneously reveal their two selected cards, forming a shared set of four Tactical Objectives.

These four selected Tactical Objectives apply to both players and are Public Information until the end of the game unless otherwise specified.

Players must keep the selected Tactical Objective cards readily available for both players during the game.

Note that the total number of objective points available to both players is now 12 instead of 9. If a player accomplishes more than 9 points of Tactical Objectives, they are considered to have only accomplished 9 points worth of Tactical Objectives.

The total number of accomplished objectives is not limited in this way for the purposes of calculating which player has accomplished more objectives. In other words, even if you score all 12 points and are limited to 9, you are considered to have accomplished 4 objectives, not three.

Regifted Operations

Replace the Tactical Objectives Selection section of the Resilience Operations with the following text below. Battle Conditions are selected as normal.

Each player simultaneously draws three Tactical Objectives from their own deck, then chooses one to pass to the opponent face down. Once both players have passed a card to their opponent, the passed cards are added to the player's hand. If a player has a duplicate objective, reveal both, return one to hand, and draw a new secret objective.

The player must keep their Tactical Objective cards and show them to their opponent at the end of the game (and return the "gifted" cards).
