Holographic Havoc

Author: YueFei23, WiseKensai, nehemiah

Apparently it grew itself in the wild, but this fractal self-replicating AI virus is a real piece of work. If we can get a few copies of it onto their network it will hog all their resources and shut everything down. Our job is to bridge the air gap and plug it into as many of their consoles as we can.

Their security protocols are on high alert and our specialists are going to have to get past an enemy spec ops team, mines and sentry guns, it's not going to be easy. To give you a better chance to hide and slip through, the virus data packs contain built in holoprojectors.

Scenario Special Rules

Data Packs

Before deployment, each player must choose two specialist troops in their list and mark them as carrying a Data Pack. The models carrying the Data Packs are Private Information. These models automatically gain the Holoprojector rule.

The models carrying the data packs must deploy in the Deployment Zone, and may not deploy in a marker state other Holoecho State.

If a model with a Data Pack dies or enters a null state, place a 25mm Data Pack token on the table touching their silhouette or in the last position their silhouette was in before their model was removed. A specialist trooper from either army may pick it up with a short skill and will also immediately gain Holoprojector equipment, which may be activated by an entire order or in subsequent states phases as normal.

Consoles

There are six consoles, three placed on the edge of each Deployment Zone. The three consoles on the edge of the enemy Deployment Zone are Enemy Consoles, the three on your Deployment Zone edge are Friendly Consoles.
